I’m Backkkk!

Wow…it has been F•O•R•E•V•E•R since I’ve made a post! I can’t believe I let it go so long, but there has been A LOT going on that honestly this got put on the back burner, but I’M BACK! I feel like I have soooo much to share, but I don’t know where to start!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s! I can’t believe we are already in 2018 ?! That is beyond crazy to me, because I feel like I just graduated high school yesterday. We’re also approaching my favoriteeeee month, since it’s my BIRTHDAY MONTH 🙂 and I am SO excited. I am not 100% sure what my plans are yet, but I’m still excited!

As I get older I realize that for my birthday (or really any holiday/special day) I don’t care about the gifts like I did when I was younger, I just want to spend time with those who I love most. I recently read an article, which some of you may have seen trending on Facebook of a girl who was suffering from bone cancer (Ewing’s sarcoma) and before she passed she wrote a letter about what she realized about life while she was sick. This letter really opened my eyes to see what is important in life and what is not. Sometimes we get so caught up in life that we forget to appreciate the little things like family and friends. We let small issues consume our day such as bad traffic on our way to work, or not getting a good night’s rest, when we should simply be happy we’re alive and well. Another thing that I have realized in the New Year is that if I really want something I need to work at and it and accomplish that goal. So, starting last week I am getting back into my fitness routine. Growing up I was always athletic and loved going to the gym (as weird as that sounds), but it made me feel great! But, about 2 years ago I started slacking. Life got in the way, and I made constant excuses as to why I didn’t have time. But, those excuses are NO LONGER VALID; if I want to get fit I have to JUST DO IT. I am already feeling so much better about myself, and I can’t wait to see my end results! I look forward to sharing my progress with you all, and if you have any great exercises or healthy meals that you would like to share, I would absolutely LOVE that! I am always looking for new meals and exercises to try!

Well, I know this post is short and sweet, but I wanted to make sure I got back on here.  I look forward to continuing this Blog and sharing all of the new and exciting things going on in my life!
